I have a Laptop Acer 4720 mod no.Z01
acually i Buy to Costumer here in My Country
The Problem of This here the Picture Below

I go to bios Set up to Check the Display...

First I Think is it LCD?But i Try To Used A External LCD Monitor
Here but ok in External i'ts mean The Internal Lcd Problem...

I try to change a New one But Still Problem




Also my Friend have Same Model of this Laptop. I Barrow Him The Lcd of his Laptop and installed the lcd But they Still Problem.

I think they have Wrong in Mother Board Parts. I Don't Known ? What Parts
and were..

Would you Help me?

could be vid cable problem.. had a few do similar.

run memtest 86 to make sure system ram ain't causing issue...


had 1 toshibia laptop have the inverted looking blotches and i tried everything and tried reflowing just gpu no dice, and so in a desperate attempt or hell with it mode, i tossed the board in oven for 8 minutes at 275 degrees and to my surprise it fixed the problem, based on a limb theory of having connection problem to the memory or nearby gpu, or somthing had a bad connection..

You could try another working inverter and an lcd cable as 'heavymachines' suggested.
Working good on external monitor doesn't always mean that there isn't a problem with the graphics chip (very rarely but it happens) .

Check the pins on the connector.

can try reseating connectors as opamp is suggesting.... could be panel itself, you can try a panel from another laptop for test, most laptops don't care about size it will still drive the display as long as the connectors are same however do not use sony vaio displays they are wired different sony likes to be proprietary... if panel swap fixes it then order the size you need...if your tester is not same size that is...
