Acer Aspire One 150 QUANTA ZG5

Hi, I reflased the BIOS due to dark screen problem, and now the netbook shows windows starting (in safe mode) and counting down to start windows, but when the count reaches 5, then suddenly shuts off.
If I press the power button again, it repeats the sequence.
The temperature is normal, and the screen seems ok.
Power adapter and battery are also good.
Any idea?

Would you Try To Clean THe pu Pan and Cpu and Replace A Thermal PAd? Try General Cleaning First...

I have another motherboard, (QUANTA ZG5) and works properly even with fan disconnected and no thermal dissipation device. It loads windows completely and run some stress test with no problem.

BIOS in your repaired mobo is ok. Once the windows starts BIOS is done with his job at start-up. I rather will focus on thermal compounds , heatsink , fan and CPU. Also you can try this trick - once windows is loading take a can of compressed air , flip it over remove power plug and spray power distribution section on your motherboard. Maybe it will point you to overheating part in this section.
