Toshiba satellite A100 no display

hi ... i have a problem with toshiba satellite A100 when i push power the runs but there is no display at all . i also try to attache it with external monitor but the condition is same i also realized that the cpu does not heating up ...but only the fan runs please i want help

BTW did you try to replace the CPU or the RAM?

Check to see if the CPU is getting voltage.

Did you let the computer overheat? I wonder if the CPU is shorted. Its not common for VRM's to just stop working all of a sudden.

Also, there have been reported problems with a 'NEC-TOKIN' capacitor in various toshiba's, check this thread out for more info

Check if there is voltage on CPU coils.
