StrongROM Error Fujitsu Esprimo V5535

Hi please can someone help me with this error:

StronROM version:03.30 Build _P ERROR
System Configuration Data Read Error.

F1 Continue F2 Setup


Apart from this the machine functions OK
I have updated the bios (phoenix) to the latest version but still has not made any difference.

Just a pain having to keep pressing F1

Try to update BIOS to older version. Maybe it will change something!

Thanks Lord, it had an older version on it in fact I have tried all the available bios updates on the Fujitsu support page. I will try again just in case something did not work.

Did you try to enavble quiet boot or set halt to none? It is not a solution, only a workaround...

I have disabled boot time diagnostics as that was the only option available, but still it says
System Configuration Data Read Error.

Could it be BIOS chip?

strange errors with bios or checksums could also indicate a RAM failure

replace ram, do clear CMOS and boot then

Have already swapped the RAM but no joy ala borbe.
But now I don't think its worth doing anything because I put the original bios back on and now its dead.

Put the BIOS chip in the bag and send it to me, i will check the chip, if bad replace it and install new bios on new chip if necessary.
