    So... i got an Acer?

Messaged someone about an Acer Aspire 5100 TWO MONTHS ago. Trouble: It charges only when it wants to. Other than that it works. Likely a bad power management IC, nothing my hot air station can't fix... He wanted 400 lei ($113) for it, i said 350 lei ($98). I got no answer. Well, today i checked my email and look at that, he replied yesterday to my message and said he accepts my offer.

    Specs are kinda like this:

Which means i can put in my 2.0GHz Turion that's left over from my dv9000, and the 250GB hard drive too. Then i can sell it to my DJ buddy for $170ish, he's looking for a laptop that runs Traktor well, and the DV9000 did a very good job at that.

I'm guessing the owner must have gotten pissed with that "charges only whenever it wants to"

As you can see from my other thread, i got an iBook G4. I gave up on the Acer after reading a bit more, that motherboard is known to be really flaky. Also, i left the owner another message the day i opened this topic, it'll be interesting to see how long he takes to respond this time.
