Compaw CQ62 no display

Got a dumpster find. It boots up and displays bios fine with an external monitor but cannot get a picture on the screen.
Never had to troubleshoot an LED screen before.
Its an LG LP156wh2 TL QB.

When the laptop powers on the screen will light up but doesnt have a pic.
Tried the flashlight trick and still couldnt see a pic.
Opened it up and reseated the video/power cable for both the screen and the board. Tried moving the cable for a lose connection and still no output.

Anyone see something like this before?

Is it common for an LED to go like this on a laptop?

Reballl or replace northbridge

Could be a bad fuse, actually. I've seen LEDs act funky like that when it wasn't the GPU/northbridge and such.
