hi
this laptop works only from AC , but it charges normal
i tried new adapter, battery and bios update
i changed the ic isl6251 with no succes
new battery will charge but will not boot the laptop
even if it is on AC and i remive the AC it will shutts off soon.
the board is :la-6842p

When you remove the battery and plug in the charger only the laptop works?

Dont you have a G5209S31U batt controller?
Before that test the PQ17 and PQ19 and also PQ214 (regular transistor 100mA 50V DTC115EUA).

yes isl6251= G5209S31U, i already changed it with no succes, also on pq17 the volt from battery without ac is 11.99 on pins 1-3 and 11.7v on pin 4 on 5678 the volt is 11.99 also
on pq 19 the volts on 1-2-3-4 is zero

I don't know if you can replace this digital tranzistor with a regular one. I don't think so.
Try to find something similar in your nearest well equiped electronics component store.

Ask for 100mA / 50V NPN epitaxial planar silicon digital transistor.

Please somebody correct me if i am wrong.

No problem. Did you compare multimeter results between those two tranz?

Try to examine tranzistors in the cirlce, PQ13 and PQ10. Or try to replace batrery controller PJP2 and PU4.

No problem. To bad you didn't manage to resolve it, but better that you quit on it, then to lose 5-6 hours to diagnose the error and still not be able to fix it.

I would be glad to know when to quit. That's because im a stubborn jackass
