Hp compaq presario f500

Hi,

my compaq presario f500 turns on power led but no display...
after a few seconds, it restarts ( led turns off and on again)
it has 3.35 volts in power switch(standby power)

does anyone encountered this problem?

try to read troubleshooting section: LEDs near Caps Lock and Number Lock keys blink when starting notebook , from attached link:

The F500 is the Compaq equivalent of the HP DV6000. It has an nVidia 6100 series GPU that needs to be re-worked.

i did 3 times reflow on nvidia chip... still the same. sometimes, video shows.. but often times no video.

LEDs not blinking.. it looks like the laptop restarts after a few seconds.
looks like if voltage reaches a section in the motherboard, laptop restarts.

please help
