Post your backup in the bios requests forum, along with the laptop serial number ,and we`ll see if it can be decoded .

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
          by grimacelord
          Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

[REQUEST] ASUS TUF A15 FA506NF (2021) - Clean BIOS dump needed (UEFI Password locked)
          by ArkzG
Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.

          What I currently have available:
          - Model: FA506NF (2021)
          - BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
          - Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...

reset bios password x409dl (asus D509D)
          by perryman
          Hello,
I want to clear the bios password in a Asus VivoBook D509DA-EJ098 but after that now ask me a different password which I don't know. I have tried several ways like ALT-R key combination but it seems that is for old ones bios.
Anybody know if it is possible reset the bios any way (jump some pins for example)???

          Thanks in advance.
          Regards.
