MSI PS42 (ms-14b11) powers on but no display

    Hi all,
External screen also not working via HDMI.
    No voltage on +3v_lcd.
Next step is to reprogram BIOS?

    Thanks

Trace it backwards the breaking point of +3VL U16 keyPoint voltages on all pins except ground?

Getting 0 on everything besides for VIN which is the correct 3.3.
Not sure where the issue lies though as it's also not displaying to an external display.
Also, even when on for a while, the GPU is stone cold.

Make sure the board reaches the point where the display should be enabled before looking there for no reason. This means for example, all necessary voltages present at the buck converters.

As @sephiroth has mentioned, motherboard is very likely not posting. First confirm us whether its posting or not.

Sorry for delay in replying, had to be offline for a few days.
PU4 and PC191 were shorted. They have now been replaced and are working ok
I have monitored the MB under a thermal cam and it looks like the EC is gone
Is it replaceable? Does it need to be programmed?
