its a SMD tantalum polymer capacitor. but i don't think its the problem check for shorts and check the buck controller in that vcore section.

yes you are right the problem was a short-circuit, but once I solved this ive found that there is two more short-circuit the coil that goes to the gpu power system and the coil that goes to the cpu power circuit are connected to ground but none of the components in the circuits gets hot when I inject voltage only the cpu and gpu a little bit, do you know what can be?

Do you know that cpu/gpu coils is designed to show very low resistance to GND?

Give us exact resistance to GND on cpu and gpu coils. It may not bea short as you're assuming.

            coil 1(PL1326): 3.2 ohm

            coil 2(PL1226): 1.5 ohm

            coil 3(PL127): 1.5 ohm

            coil 4(PL128): 1.5 ohm

            coil 5(PL1025): 8.7 ohm

            coil 6(PL25): 22.1 ohm

i disoldered PL14 coil to measure the two coil pads and see the differences

            coil pad 7(PL14): 0.9 ohm

            coil pad 8(PL14): 7.33 Kohm

            coil 9(PL13): 0.9 ohm

            coil 10(PL12): 0.9 ohm

            coil 11(PL15): 63.2 ohm

            ----------------------------------------

and now talking about the tantalum polymer capacitor, those that are beside cpu receives 20v and those beside gpu 0v and this was after resolve a short-circuit before those beside cpu was receiving 0v

thanks for all the help I appreciate the possibility to learn from everyone here.

and i inject the voltage in the pad coil that goes to cpu and gpu, the one that is 0.9 ohm in PL14 and pl1227 pad for cpu, the consumption was about 2.5 amps

i think the cpu takes a lot of amps, 2.5 amps is too much. but if you had a problem with the cpu or gpu, I believe that the mosfets of the cpu or gpu would be in shorts

is that posible if I inject the voltage in the pad of coil that is not connected to mosfet? see schematics and where I injected voltage, if its possible that's a hope to save the laptop

The laptop's behavior is: When connected, it tries to power up. CPU powers on, and (allegedly) the power sequence finishes and goes to S0 (PLT_RST = 3.3V). It consumes 600mA, ramps up to 1.100 A and...

                                Hello,

I have a problem with the bios, let me explain.

With BIOS 1, the pc takes +- 30 seconds to display the ASUS logo (black screen) and to boot.

I did a clear ME, my black screen problem for 30 seconds at boot is solved, it gives me directly the display and boots quickly.

My problem is that now, once the charger is plugged in and I put a slight load on the processor, it bogs down to 0.39GHz...
The only solution is to unplug the charger to get the cpu back up to speed. But as soon as I plug in the charger, it goes straight back down....

Hi. I bought a damaged Asus motherboard, model dabkxmb18b0 rev.b. The problem with the motherboard was a faulty processor.
I replaced the processor, but it arrived without a BIOS chip. I found one post on the forum, but my problem is
I don't know which chip to program, and I don't have a schematic. Does anyone know which BIOS chip models are compatible with this motherboard? If so, please let me know. Thanks.

The laptop powers on, fans spin, but the dGPU (NVIDIA) is not properly initialized — sometimes it shows up in Device Manager with Code 43, sometimes black screen.
After several BIOS downgrades/upgrades (versions 300, 301, 303) and EC resets, it thinking looks like the EC firmware (IT5570VG-256) might have a persistent fault or flag stored in flash.

I already extracted the BIOS .CAP files and DXE sections with UEFITool and IFRExtractor, but I couldn’t find...
