I have a problem with Asus X515JA-BQ2634W. The motherboard model is X415JA rev 3.1. The laptop got water-damaged around the EC (IT5125E-128), IO connectors, and the audio area on the opposite side of the PCB. After cleaning up the water damage and reflowing the EC, the laptop started turning on, and everything worked correctly. However, after two days, it suddenly stopped turning on. Now, when connected to the power supply, it draws around 0.01A. On the motherboard, I have measured voltages of 3V and 5V, as well as LDO3 and LDO5, generated by the Richtek RT8249C (2N=). Additionally, I have identified a coil where 1.8V appears when the power supply is connected. All coils show the correct resistance on a multimeter. Due to the water damage around the EC, I removed it to check if there were any traces underneath, but all connections seemed fine. The BIOS has been reprogrammed. Can anyone suggest where to look for the problem?
