"Laptop fallen to the ground, the fan is spinning, the side LED is flashing, the keyboard LEDs are turning on and off, and the Caps Lock LED is continuously on... What could I check?

Sudden drop faults can be linked to shorted caps due to cracks. Watched a video by TCRS on the missing backlight on A1708 that was exactly this case. One of the caps had a hairline crack in it.
