Acer Aspire ES1-132 stuck on ACER logo with loading icon

Hi! Problem with an Acer Aspire ES1-132 that is taking an eternity to load Windows. All you can see is the Acer logo and the loading icon (white dots going in circles). I have tried using a bootable flash drive (Windows installer in GPT). Still the same. I have already performed a BIOS update (versions 1.13 and 1.15) thinking that it has something to do with it. No improvement. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello again. does anybody have a similar problem like this laptop? Please share your experience even if it is an HP, Asus or any other brand. This type of problem is frustrating because I cant think of any other way around it. Looking forward to your inputs. Thanks!

Yes its difficult to find out what's wrong in these cases.Some requirement of CPU and/or ram is likley missing.

Have seen an Acer where the system was throttled because the battery was faulty. Reported as 100% charged via SMBUS, however no voltage actually at the terminals. When the battery was removed, CPU speed returned to normal (in Performance tab of Windows Task Manager). Replacement battery resolved the issue.

sorry, but what is ME? i can't access the laptop even with a different hard disk intended for a new Windows installation. i have also attempted to install Windows via bootable flash drive. unfortunately, the laptop is just loading (for eternity). imagine you see the word Acer on the screen and the small white dots going in circles just below it. that is all that is happening, just loading. i can't go anywhere. do you think this is a case of a faulty BIOS?

ME-Management Engine. There is ME region in all intel based bios and it can be cleaned with FITC tool. I'll suggest to download bios update from acer website for your model and extract that to make a fresh bios. There is full bios in the acer update and its ME region is already clean. This way you can rule out ME region+Bios issue. Yes the issue you are facing can be bios related.
