Asus ROG G752VM - Chip7 replaced no VCCcore

    Hey everyone.

Long story short, another dead no power ROG with shorted chip7.
Removed chip7, short gone, ordered a new one and replaced.
    All resistances ok.
Now machine takes power, turns on the power leds, and stuck at 600ma.

All rails are present except Vccore.

All rails seem to have a decent resistance value, but im inclined to say its a dead CPU no?

Check photos with values and also thermal pic of the cpu and gpu.
GPU gets warm, but normal since its powered.

I also leave here the original bios dump, in case its usefull for someone.

    PN:60NB0D60-MB1013 G752VM

    board model: G752VS rev 2.1 BIOS -> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1213856

    RIP cpu right?
    Another opinion is much appreciated!

    Cheers guys

      Hello!

      CPU PWM ic is ncp81205

I tried original bios with Clear ME, and 2 from the forum here
Still same thing, hangs at 600ma with no vcore on the cpu

On vcore coils 4 ohm should be fine... Check alert pins near ncp81205...probably svidalert is 0V?

if 40 and 42 pins of ncp81205 no any data signals, then cpu to replace

yeah those 4 ohm were my hope!

            On PWM ic I have

            pin 43 EN - 3.36V
            Pin 41 P_SVID_ALERT - 0.076V ( 550 ohm resistance)

Yeah pin 40 and 42 both have 1v but dont see any data signals, just scrambled giberish

I think its clear CPU is dead right?
maybe it was what killed the PCH...
