Surface Book with damaged screen cover

Hi guys.
Want to buy this one.
On pics looks like screen cover is damaged at 3 places.
A seller reporting everything works fine.
Could this damage maybe damage some internal parts of Surface or ot is just esthetically?

There is a gap of about 2 mm between the motherboard and the surface. If there was any damage to the motherboard, it would be obvious. Since the computer is working, there is no damage to the motherboard. There is no problem with the battery either.
