identify component on lg lcd laptop display

the markings are T12 or maybe TI2...it has 8 pins..all pins on one side(four pins) are ground....looks like a very small mosfet but it s not...on the board markings are u20...It is located on LG LP156WF6 LCD laptop displays near the lg display chip. thx

Can you post a pic from your microscope?

What are the topside markings ? Is T12 from the logic board silk screen or the part itself ?

Could be a TSSOP8 spi flash ic?

I can make a microscope pic tomorrow, but i have three of this lcd s(two broken for parts) and topside markings are T12..bottom side are all different on each model..so i dont think it will help us a lot to identify a chip model...

I dont think so...because of 4 pins are ground..on each model.

24-series I2C EEPROM have up to 3 address pins that can be pulled low and ground on the same side.

i didnt have time for microscope..this is from mobile phone...but you can see markings clear.
