Magicshine MJ-906B Bike Lamp - Faulty Component Identification

Hi, my neighbor gave me a faulty bike headlamp (Magicshine MJ-906B) and asked if I could have a look at it. I opened it up and saw a blown-up component, likely some kind of transistor. The writing on the component looks like "AG5V" but I can´t seem to find any information on this component. Does anyone know what it could be? Also it seems that someone else had worked on the device before (the battery wire soldering looks bad) but since it worked until recently that´s probably unrelated... Any help would be appreciated.

Top leg is connected to BAT+ (ca. 8V)
Bottom right leg is connected to BAT-
Bottom left leg is connected to another chip for which I can´t find any information either (labeled "ATC B AV")

Epson 5040UB Projector No Lamp Strike Stuck in Startup - Blinking Status/Lamp Lights
      by vestaviascott
Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

      Here's what happens:

      1) Power on
      2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
      3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...
