I dont have a clip small enough to take the backup of the SOIC-8 150 mils BIOS, I dont have enough knowledge to desolder the chip. 😔

There are two bios chips on your device, post an additional 8 MB chip.

This method worked for my M720q. Tried it yesterday and was able to remove the supervisor/admin password on a locked ebay machine.

I suggest folks try this for their M920q as well because the builds are similar. Take note of the original config your jumper JP35 on the M920q motherboard (most M720q's have the jumpers on 5-6 by default).
