Another Dell Optiplex 7010 having admin locked issue in bios. 148RWX3-8FC8 , this is the optiplex model built in 2023, not the old 7010's, has a 13th gen cpu...any help greatly appreciated

Only flash this 16mb,

1st boot, press F2, write service tag, disable Absolute, save, restart. 2nd boot press Alt+F to exit manufacturing mode...

rex98 Hi Rex, I have a similar locked issue with a 2023 Optiplex Micro (12th gen CPU) which I have detailed in this thread: Link

After flashing patch based on your patcher from this thread and using a CH341a clip, the system is stuck with solid Amber power LED and no response pressing power button. Holding for 25 sec to reset RTC and CMOS battery pull also doesn't change anything.

What's more concerning is flashing the original extracted BIOS back does not appear to change anything, still Amber LED. I actually found your tool on Github prior to finding BadCaps 😊

All BIOS files are attached to the original thread and SMDFlea pointed me to this thread - would your patched BIOS in this thread also work or something different?
