    Intel D101ggc

1 820MF 6.3V was leaking. Replaced, the new replacement was leaking within a few min as well, after I replaced the Power supply. (we are in the comp business so we have them laying around). NO other capacitors look bad. The computer started to give us trouble a while ago.

What can cause it to keep screwing the capacitors. Its not overclocked and all the fans are working. These intel Boards run the CPU hot. (55C) I verified with intel specs its correct.

    any suggestions besides scraping it?

    Moe.

The capacitor is right next to the edge by the pci slot.
The replacemet was purchesed from badcaps. (these people) I even got the better capacitors....

      Thanks,

      Moe.

(if you still need a picture, I will be at the office later today)

Some boards have silkscreening done the opposite way (white stripe is actually +voltage instead of ground). Check the polarity with a multimeter.

Sure enough, the voltage is backward vs the silkscreen. I will replace the cap with a new one and see how its working.

          Thanks.
