Hi my Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 280X Graphics card, just stopped working
any one know anything about them or what the problem is?

the screen went checkered and just shut down, then it wouldnt boot screen up but fans were moving

checkerboard pattern is 95% the gpu is spoilt. go get urself a new one. your card model is quite new tho. rma to the manufacturer if still under warranty.
