Hi,
I am working on GIGABYTE RX 6900 XT Gaming OC GPU that does not show any image.
When I power on the PC ARGB is lit on the GPU, fans spin for couple of seconds and stop and VGA LED on the motherboard stays on.
So far I have tested if I am getting 12V from the PSU on all three of the 8-pin connectors.
Next I checked resistance to ground:
Vcore - 0.4 Ohm
Vmem - 21.7 Ohm
VDDCI - 14.7 Ohm
Vsoc - 1.4 Ohm
3.3V - 6k Ohm
12V - 1.3k Ohm
From what I have read these reading are OK?
Next I tried to measure voltage, but for e.g. Vcore initially shows 0.850V but then it drops to 0V. Is it intended behaviour due to GPU not being detected and motherboard cutting power?
I have not checked other voltages yet as I found this weird and I am looking for further advice.
PSU is GIGABYTE 1000W that was bought used.
