    Gigabyte H410M not detecting GPU

    Hi,
My Gigabyte H410M motherboard works fine with an i5 10th Gen processor, but when I plug in my GTS 450 GPU, it isn't detected. The GPU works fine on my old PC. I've updated the BIOS, but there's still no change. The motherboard works with VGA output but doesn't detect the GPU as if it's not connected.

Note: The 12V and 3.3V power rails are on the PCIe x16 slot.

I hope someone can help me out.

    Thank you.

try booting with the card plugged in but with integrated-GPU hdmi connected. Check if the card is detected. If so:
    • Some older cards like the GTS 450 may have issues with newer UEFI-only BIOS systems.
    • If the H410M BIOS supports CSM (Compatibility Support Module) or Legacy Boot, enable that in the BIOS if the card doesn't show display output right away.
    • Since the GTS 450 is a very old GPU (2010 era), driver support is limited.
    • You'll likely need to install legacy NVIDIA drivers i think something like (version 342.xx) manually on modern OSes.

It's true that the graphics card is old, so I tried some new ones and the result was the same. After examining the motherboard myself several times, it turned out that some of the tracks under the motherboard were broken. I'm going to try to fix them myself because I haven't found any shop that does it.
      Thank you for your help.
