I have a Mac Studio that does not recognize the USB C ports or the USB A ports (pen, keyboard and mouse). but when connecting to a macbook to restore via DFU mode, it detects without problem, and restores. I already opened it and took it apart to check if there was any damage or anything strange, everything was normal. I also tested only with USB A connected and nothing! Has anyone ever found something similar on a macbook M1/m2 macmini?

When you connect a mouse -> do you see the red light under the mouse turn on? The issue could be the VBUS (power rail) used by the USB connector(s). Each device you have tested needs to be powered by the USB connector. The DFU mode does not need power to function.
PS: Had to google to even learn what this thing is. Do not believe there are any schematics for this beast.
Can you post clear pics of the logic board? You may find nearby the USB connectors a fuse for the VBUS or at least USB load switches. It is strange that all ports are not functional.
Could this be a software disable setting? Perhaps a security setting to disable the use of USB?Last edited by mon2; 06-19-2024, 04:56 PM.
