    EVGA GTX970 Undetectable by computer

    Hello there,
New to Graphics cards troubleshooting. I have a dead EVGA GTX970 FTW.
I followed a youtube video.. The first issue I had were a couple of DU516 (Bottom right hand side under the plate) had low impedance. I replaced those and now I get 1.55 V for memory voltage. Progress I guess.

According to the Youtube videos, pin 3 (VIN) of the GS7103 is VIN and should be 1.5 V nominal. I'm getting close to 0 v.

Wonder if anyone has any input. The 1.55 V is up, but I'm not sure what gates that voltage to the GS7103 VIN pin 3.

Correction... i guess GS7103 generates vpex (not vcore?) And that's what i am missing i think? And the fits I replaced were the MDU1516, bottom right hand side

Can't believe I found it.. the trace (good hefty 100 mil or so trace) was basically fused (cut / melted) this carries the 1.5V to the Linear Regulator GS7103 hence not getting the 1 V Pex voltage. Solder that together, and all is good. Bottom of the picture the blob of solder is what electrically connects the trace. I put some coating on it for protection, hence, the shine
