Should Apple support Wi-Fi Protected Setup on AirPort routers?

You have probably noticed this, but I cannot find an AirPort router (not even the dual-band models) which support Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
WPS is typically found on Wireless-N access points (including dual-band) and on a growing number of Wireless-G access points.

I would not buy an apple airport router. Too much of a pita to set up and flaky compatibility with some off-brand/generic/no-name networking gear. Stick to netgear

No.
I'll set my own keys, don't need to be faffing around with buttons and 'syncing' more of my devices.

you know the default ssid so many routers broadcast like "lameass-FE1DA9",
that numeric crap on the end is an encoded copy of your key.

and there are keygens out there!
