941bw loaded as if it would normally run, everything hooked up:

Here is my voltage in dc set @ 20 on pins 1-9

white 9 = 2.34
white 8 = .95
white 7 = 5.15
white 6 = 5.15
white 5 = 0
white 4 = 0
white 3 = 0
white 2 = 17.14
red 1 = .41

voltage @ dc 1000 on big cap 100ufx450v = 169vdc accross the legs

If this board does happen to be a junk one ~ I ordered(won) this on ebay "Samsung PWI1904SJ(M), BN44-00121L, McKinley IP Board "

The pinout is diff on the other side , has more pins. What a steal for 6.27 + 6.50 shipping? lol
that should be here by the end of next week. Likely I one can snip the wire not needed or change the plug.
The dimensions of the board are believed to be the same, 4 ccfl outs too. Even the power plug looks to be in the right location when reviewing. Obviously not a direct replacement, but hey

Still hoping for the learning experience on this one though.

Ok....here's the update on this guys. The board I posted above had a diff pinout like I had mentioned. Mostly it was key1,2 etc...(keypad addon?) Anyhow the rest was the same other than ONE ground. Here's whats been done.... I removed each wire one by one moving them into the 9 pin block/plug from the 12 pin block/plug, sniped one wire from key2 (pin 12 of some not needed leaving the rest of them extra's' on that plug hanging inside to not ground out. I pealed the sheath on on ground and soldered/shrink wrapped to protect it from mother ground ...put the unit side the housing pluging everything back in as normal. Now, I get a little brighter backlight with same systems. Guess this means its the logic board. (assumtion always makes an ass out of me) ...The screen will re-light when I change resolutions etc... Still 2 seconds black ;(

now what? lol .......I'm open to anything on this one!
