    Samsung - LS19HALKBB/XAAL

I bought 15 faulty units today all this model number. All have bulging Samxon 15v 1000uf's. All will fire up and work perfect after replacing the single bad cap. Although I am replacing all four on each board.

Samxon had a series the GF series I found on monitors and they would always bulge.

Samxon is a good brand but even good brands have bad runs.
Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

Hehe now I see in one of the pics GF .

For future reference treat the Samxon GF series like Fujiyuus replace any on sight.

I'm a Panasonic, UCC, and sometimes Nichicon guy myself.

Change them all. Same brand, same series ---> same death. You are there anyway, man. I've been dealing with those GFs all morning on Westinghouse units. One was so "blown" that I found only the pins soldered on the board, and the plastic seal that goes under the cap : nothing else.

Sounds like a Gremlins got into the Samxon factory during the GF series. Maybe thats what the G in GF stands for.
