    Samsung PX2370 not see the connected HDMI device

    Hi all.
    I have particular problem with my PC monitor Samsung PX2370. I have two computers connected to the monitor.
    Firs connected on DVI cable and second on HDMI. On both PC are set same resolution 1920x1080.
    Sometime when i want to switch monitor to the PC connected on HDMI i click source button on back side of the monitor.
    Source mode is set to auto. But after auto start connected source does not find the HDMI device and returns to the device connected to the DVI.
    When I turn on only the PC connected to the HDMI monitor will start to search for the connected device when turned on. They thought nothing was attached and switched to standby mode.
    The only solution to solve this problem is unplug DC power from monitor and wait 10 sec. The monitor then finds the device connected via HDMI.
    But open windows and tabs is resized and shifted o the corner of the desktop. In the notification bar is a report of the recommended resolution.

      Ok, here we go...


      Back in 2017. one capacitor on my monitor power board failed, so I had to replace it. I decided to change all the caps (except the BIG one), and everything was working well. I had a big help from other members, especially from momaka. He had enough patience to give answer to all my questions.

      hi
      i have the above monitor and while it turns on normally
      i can go to menu and in other choises
      when i connect a source the display counts 3 seconds and after turn off
      it doesnt sense the signal
      does someone have similar problem ;

      So here is the thing. Someone from a rich neighborhood posted a sale on a broken Samsung. It was doing re-boot all the time.
      A web search revealed a very quick fix, so I bought it TV for $100.

      First move was to get a new used Samsung Connect Box​ but there was no change on error.
      I opened up the device, and what I saw was way different on what was on YouTube videos, in terms of complexity.

      Now, I can replace all 3 board onboard, and give it a go, but that may also be a waste of money. I can get all components for $150

      Hello. Samsung UN50MU6070FXZA here with both HDMI ports non-working. I have already verified multiple sources and multiple cables to ensure it isn't something simple like that as well as resets and software updates.

      I took the mainboard out and gave it a look. Nothing looks bad or burned. All of the HDMI pins are nice, none are broken at their pads either.

      Following the traces, it looks like both HDMI ports trace back to the main CPU which does seem to get hotter than I think it should despite it's (rather poor) heatsink.

      Since the HDMI controller appears...

      Hi! The backlight doesn't work, but the board itself works. I checked every diode on it and they all light up. Shim is definitely working as I changed it for a new one.

      I found the datasheet for a similar chip OB3351.

      VCC (1 leg)

      14v comes

      VDD (leg 14)

      It has 3.5v.

      Smd capacitance checked C913 it has a thousand nanofarads.

      vLos-1.2% looks like it is working.
