    Asus VE247H problem

Hi, I found this broken monitor.
It`s starts up and turn off about 5 seconds after.
There is also a small red vertical lines.
All the caps and soldering look good.
Should I change the caps anyway?

    Here is the caps list
    On the main PS 330uf 35v x2,680uf 16v x2,22uf 50v
    On the driver 22uf 100v x2,220uf 25v x 2
    On the video board 220uf 16v x2, 22uf 25v x3,10uf 25v

    Thanks.
    Frank.

check the diodes in 2 pairs with the empty space next to each pair.

putting diodes in parallel is a stupid trick that often fails - just search this forum for "vestel" to see lots of examples.

Thanks, I guess I have to desolder the diodes to test them right?
I tried to test them on the board and I get an voltage from both ends.

test them on the board for resistance - if they arent short-circuit then they are o.k.

Hi, can you help with this procedure?
I have a cheap multimeter that is not autoranging.
What values should I get ?
          Thanks.

          Frank.

I think I figure it out. I use the 200 setting on my multimeter
and got 1 fro mon side and voltage on the other on all diodes.
            What`s next to check?

            Frank.

Hi, I check all resistors diodes and caps, they test all good.
I also check and clean the ribbon cable.

I have this vertical red line.

                  Video Board issue?

                  Thanks.

if it's always in the same place, it could be the panel.
