Acer AL2416W lcd display

I have replaced the inverter board in my acer AL2416w monitor and i have also replaced the caps on the board but i'm still getting a solid black line down the right hand side. Sometimes it will disappear and i get a full picture and sometimes it wil stay solid black does anyone have any ideas ?

looks like an intermintent panel fault

could be the panel - i hope not.
