I have this Samsung monitor that's doing classic 2 seconds to black.
All caps are visibly fine, all voltages are there.
Things I've noticed:
There's a hissing sound coming from bottom of the panel.
Ripped panel apart to access lights hoping maybe bad connection/s - all in tact and solid.
I wanted to access the backlight timer pin on inverter part # FAN7317B
to short it to ground so I can see if transformer is getting warm or if one lamp in particular flickers but the data sheet didn't have a "timer" pin? Maybe labeled something else?
I also noticed, if I disconnected one lamp from the bottom connector the hissing sound goes away.
