hi guys.

i've Got a Macbook Pro 13' with Adapter cable From mini displyport to VGA... but when i set the setting to the Recommended settings and Resolution of the screen - the pic goes like this:

When I drop the resolution Down the pic goes OK but you know.... everything looks not Perfect....

what can i do to fix this?

It would help if you stated what resolutions and settings you are using.
T220 native seems to be 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz though it appears that with some pcs/ operating systems it defaults to less

oh Sorry. yes you was Right, it 1680 x 1050.

but i read that from 2009 The Mac Pro graphics cards (GT120 & Radeon 4870) can drive even 30" display at 2560x1600.... so... its Should work.


what can be the problem?

Doesnt matter what the PC/Mac can drive if the maximum the screen can handle is 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz.

If you had a 30" screen that can handle 2560x1600 then yes it would be ok.

You need to match (downsize) the output of the Mac with the T220.

Maybe there is some problem with the mac using 16x10 as against 16 x9

Have you looked on Macpro13 specific forums.
