    Dell 2408WFP static/pixelated display

Hey guys, just thought I'd throw this one out to you -

Dell 2408WFPb that I rescued from the dumpster.

Unit powers on (green power light on front panel)

With no cables connected, the display lights and I get output on the screen (the "no data connection" window)

However, all output is heavily pixelated and distorted. It starts out somewhat legible and within a second it is too pixelated to see.

I have taken pictures of all the boards inside the case, Please let me know what you want!

      UPDATE:

Unplugging and messing with the LVDS wire from the TCON seems to behave as intended, with full sections of the display on the fritz. IF it is the TCON, it must be a relatively minor error as opposed to a catastrophic one.

Update: It wasn't the TCON board.

Special thanks to user Ritalin, who sent me all his old boards from an identical unit.

The TCON board was fine, the problem turned out to be the logic board. Not sure exactly what died on the logic board, but the panel is fixed now!

Finally got around to using this panel - and it's still exhibiting a problem. First issue is fixed, however!

The panel displays video, however, there are fine horizontal "lines" that are pretty hard to describe. I posted some pics. First pic is from the affected monitor, second is the same image on a working monitor.
