Samsung 214T with bad caps and transformers

Fixed 5 of these last weekend, all 5 had bad caps, but one of them has 3 bad transformers with higher resistance than normal on the high voltage winding.

This set of pictures shows the ESR meter that uses a microamp meter and a CFL with a wire probe being used. Would you please elaborate as to how the meter works and what the purpose of the CFL is as well as how it's being used. Thank you.

I use the CFL with little probe for quick check to see if the output at the lamp connectors are putting out high voltage pulse, it will not stay lit of course. I usually use the test lamps for testing the inverter, so it is just for quick test, I also use it for other circuits that generate high voltage.

The ESR meter is just some thing I experiment with using 555 Timer IC. I have SECORE LC-75, it just something for me I am playing with.
