Hi BadCaps folks,
Recently I had a good experience repairing my Samsung 204B by replacing the faulty caps, and I am thinking of adding a second display to my system.
I am considering either a) buying a basket case Samsung monitor and fixing it, or b) buying an older but still functioning Samsung with thoughts of fixing it when the time comes. I'm leaning towards spending a few more bucks and buying a working one just so I know that no one has been inside messing around with it. Or maybe I'll be proactive and change the caps up front.
With that said, I am looking in the 20-24" range. Is there a particular Samsung monitor I should focus on? I live in the LA area, and there are plenty listed of all sorts on Craigslist.
LAS.
