    Acer AL 2017 AS manual service

    Hello,
    I would need the service manual of this monitor ACER AL 2017 AS,
    This is the ID number of the Power Board DAC-19M005 REV 00A CF
    This monitor will not turn on.
    From the first checks that I did, I found two short-circuit transistor (Q205, Q206), swollen electrolytic capacitors (C204, CE101), and a burnt SMD resistor (R210).
    I hope someone can help me.

    No luck on the Service Manual from the usual sources. That's a fairly common power supply / inverter, particularly on Acers.

    One approach is to go to www.elektrotanya.com and check the service manuals for various Acer monitors. Register (free) if you want to download more than 2 manuals in a day.

    Another approach is to post good quality pictures (top and bottom) of the power supply / inverter. See my signature for links to hints on how to take the pictures.

    The best approach is to search this site for the DAC-19M005 and append your request to that thread. The only problem you are having that presents any kind of a challenge is the burnt resistor. Even then, a picture would be useful.

      Agreed, search the DAC-19m005 there us a lot of good information, in this forum.
      If it will help you I have a DAC-19m005. REV.00A board.
      R210 has markings 10r0 on it and it measures 10 ohms in circuit.

          I have repaired the monitor by changing the following components:
          C204: 220u 25V
          CE101: 220u 25V
          CE104: 1000U 25V
          CE103: 1000U 25V
          CE102: 1000U 10V
          CE109: 220u 25V
          R210: 10 OHM
          F200 (SMD): 32V 2A
          Q205 + Q206: 40T03GP

                I have a Westinghouse and R210 was burned, just a little had to really look at it with magnification.
                In my case exactly the same as a Westinghouse.
