    samsung 940bx how to open?

    i have 2 samsung syncmaster 940bx lcd monitors that i would like to swap parts between. one has a damaged panel, the other has a defective circuit board inside.

    how do i get the housing of these monitors apart so that i can swap parts between them?

              thanks for the help. i got the cases open and made one good working monitor.

              one of the monitors had a hannstar panel in it, the other had a samsung panel in it. but the power & logic boards swapped between them with no problems.

                  anyone got ideas what might be wrong with the power & logic boards from the dead syncmaster 940bx monitor?

                  one day the monitor just quit displaying images on the screen. the blue power light would illuminate but no picture was displayed. i did not see any bulging or leaking capacitors on the power supply board.

                      Check the fuse on the inverter. Pics of top/bottom of all boards would help determine how best to troubleshoot (please use "Manage Attachments" when posting pics).
