It would seem that there is more than one type of board for this set.
Can you post good clear pictures so we know what we are talking about.
Do you have a multimeter and soldering equipment?.

Ok, I'll have to open her up, then.. Yes, I have soldering iron and multimeter.

She failed completely... so I ran out and got a new one, but still look to try to fix it. I'll open her up and post it here when I get time.
