Hi all

There's a loud thump noise at power up , then nothing .

Anyone experienced on these units ?

First casualties ..

Q17 & Q18 , both type IRFP4229


Q17 S/C , & will also replace Q18 as they seem to work together .

Now on order & will update thread once parts arrive .

Also replacing drive chip for Q17 & Q18 . Looks a bit stressed & wouldn't want to take a chance .

It lives on a sub module , REF U9 , type Infineon IR2011S

C40 , 2.2MF , yellow SMD cap faulty .

Lives on same sub module as drive chip .
