    Kicker zx650.4 weak channel

I have a kicker zx650.4 (rev2.0 2008) with a weak channel that I would love to fix, any idea on where to start?

you got an oscilloscope? if not, can you borrow one? First I would probe the input stage to see if the unbalance occurs there. Any strange noises? How weak are we talking about?

I do not have an O'Scope, I am considering getting a mini pocket one like the dso 201 or dso nano v3, if thoes wont work I can ask my friends dad who has a real scope if I can borrow it.

Oh and the difference as measured by a db meter phone app is approx 6-10db.

So there is quite a bit of difference then. You need to input a test signal with either generator or hookup a computer with a sound card. Then measure the gain through each op amp and go through the stages. don't forget to check the input and output of the variable resistor that sets the gain. Nice thing is one channel is working 100%. So you can compare between them. Good luck!
