Sony #Hcd251 Compact disc receiver with no audio.

I have changed the audio IC in this sony Hcd251 compact system because
there is no audio.I have the service manual for this system,and the circuit
boards are in good condition although it was manufactured in 1998.Can anyone offer a solution for this problem?
