right here we go got this portable speaker which is great but no speaker outs to connect proper speakers like my tannoy cherries . would it be worth thinking about adding switched speaker sockets . ? oh its a soundcore anker motion boom plus . sounded good earlier outdoors but in here sounds a bit crap compared to my tannoys and rotel amp

why not just get a generic speaker or module from ali if your going to pull it apart.

was late night thinking during birthday drinks . thought it would be a good addition to have ... plenty of the original boom boxes from back in the day had speaker out sockets . i won't be tearing it about just yet but might do in a year or 2 .Comment

I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. I have a battery operated remote controlled wireless motion sensor that is not outputting an alarm when the unit is triggered via motion.
It uses 3 X 1.5V AA batteries in series. When arming and disarming the unit, the piezo does beep once(armed) and beep twice(disarmed).
When measuring the output directly on the PIR sensor(Digital Intelligent Passive Infrared Sensor AM312), its output goes high(3V) for about 2 seconds when waving my hand above it, then drops low again.
So it looks like the PIR sensor is functioning correctly.

I have this older Samsung Bluetooth egg shaped motion remote that came with my UN65HU8500 TV. I can pair with my newer tv un65ks8000 and it works fine. However there is a delay when first using the remote after sitting for a few minutes. After a few seconds it starts working like normal. But it always takes a few seconds at first to work.
it doesn’t do this on the hu85500 tv and the ks8000 doesn’t do this with the small Bluetooth remote it came with.
