Whichever engineer thought of this -- Thank you!

I wanted to thank the nice engineer who had the frankly genius idea of laying out his board into distinct subsystems and labelling each.

    This will make diagnosis easier.

I stumbled upon this image while researching parts for a TV. It's from an Orion LCD TV - it appears to be a small/medium Japanese company that still makes the occasional LCD TV (they used to make CRT TVs, which were very good as well.) It is also full of Rubycon capacitors, which is a big plus for reliability.

I have seen this board or a very similar one before.

While I don't know if this one has it, I like boards that are silkscreened on both sides. It makes identifying solder joints easier for the spatially challenged.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

It wasn't an engineer that did this. It was the management. Trust me.

I love these kinds of boards too. If I were/become an electrical engineer, my PCBs would look similar to these

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
            by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

            by RolandVossen
            Hello,

I am attempting to repair a KVC50 kitchen machine. Problem is that speeds 1..5 on the speed dial do not work at all (motor is not engaged). The 'reverse' and 'slow' settings on the same dial however work properly. I removed the dial, its PCB components seems to be basic: a potentiometer, a microswitch, a couple of LEDs and a couple of SMD diodes or transistors. The dial has three cables with three connectors that hook up to the motor controller PCB. One connector (3 pins) for speed, one connector (5 pins) for the LEDs, and one connector (2 pins) for a safety switch that is...
