How is fish finder transducer power calculated?

I find this baffling, but the rated transducer power for a fish finder is higher than its rated DC input, for example the JRC FF30 has a 30W draw at the 12V input (including transducer) but has a 1600W (peak to peak)/200W (RMS) transducer output rating .
As far as I know, the transducer is connected directly to that particular fish finder unit.
So how is the transducer power output calculated?

Peak power. There are laboratory lasers available today with peak power in terawatts, usually for nanoseconds. However, the actual power consumption of the laser is only a kilowatt or so. (Still insanely high! Cooling is essential.)

For comparison, it is estimated that the electrical power consumed on Earth as a whole is about 15 terawatts.

In relation to peak power, it involves a certain (very low) duty cycle - it is different for each manufacturer (and even user settings) and transducer.

        Latitude 5530, 203102-1, South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4, i5 12th Gen
        by Green Probe
Hi, I'm looking for a schematic and/or boardview for a Dell Latitude 5530. The motherboard is marked "South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4, 203102-1, FK8VG$LA" I think it's the i5 12th Gen. I'm trying the similar 5520 schematic, but things are shifted around, making it a bit tough for me to find things. This might not be the place to discuss the issue, it shows no life. It consumes 5V1A when plugged into the USB-C charger. Main rail is present at 16.75V, and 4.2V is present at some locations. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

iPad 5th gen (A1823) - No charge but recognized by finder
        by Carl0s-
        Hi,

Sooo - our IT got a pile of old iPads that the sales guys have been mistreating. These are free for grabs if you want to try to get one working. Thought I'd give it a try - if I get at least some life to I can give to my kid to entertain during a car rides.

But the iPad it self - its a 5th gen cellular model. When I initially plug it in it was completely dead. It was not recognized by my Mac nor it started to charge. Disassembled it opened up the battery connector and checked the battery voltage. My multimeter showed 0,7v. Had a spare micro-usb charging board lying...

Fish Tank LED Power Supply Gets Hot then shuts down
        by EasyGoing1
A good friend of mine brought to me a rather large LED light array that is used for fish tanks. IT's so large in fact, that it requires TWO ATX style power supplies.

He told me that as soon as he turns it on, the LEDs turn on, but then shortly turn off.

I tried powering the lights with just one power supply, but they wont power with just one, so with both turned on, the lights do turn on, but then they turn off.

The power supplies are identical, and one of them seems just fine, but the other one ... within 10 seconds after connecting it to power, the...
