    More bad news for the OEM stereo in the 2000 Honda Civic EX

    (Not mine. The guy I'm with today.)

    Today, it suddenly refuses to even let you use the radio!

    And the anti-theft light is still blinking, even with the engine running!

    Looks like it's still in the same mode as when the car's off!

    With the OEM stereo, the anti-theft light normally stops blinking when the vehicle's going.
    Except for when the battery gets disconnected and the code wasn't entered.

    This time, it's refusing to even let you use the radio, even when the battery wasn't disconnected!

      It was having problems before, it would randomly refuse to play CDs and display "E00".

          Sounds like the CPU (jungle) is toast. Connections checked? Careful to disarm airbag before tampering in the dash.
