Help me make charger USB C cable with no cc pins!!

    Hi all, please

I just want to make a "usb c" charging cable from 5V power supply (have cut cable w/ red black green and white pins connected from factory.... i just want to use 500mah max !

How do I connect this ? if I do not have CC1 /2 physically wired, how to proceed?

NOTE: an identical new (not cut) USB A to USB C cable charges my phone but not the remote control!

here is a picture of the remote, the cable to be used and a picture of what are the factory connected pins

    thanks in advance!!

I do not think you are going to able to do it this way because the chip that makes the selection of what voltage and current to the device that you have connected to the charger

Now one solution might be is to have a USB C charger that has two outlets that are separate from each other but can charge two different devices at one time you can find them but you are going to have google search for them

Now if you can not find one then you can also try using two separate USB C chargers and remove them from there enclosure and put them in one larger enclosure and that would solve your problem but is a little bit of work

I have done this in the past with USB A type because I want to have a higher current capability for charging more than one iPad on the same charge switching power supply

USB type C is a little bit more challenging because of circuit power requirements for each device

I have looked into this myself and I have not figured out how you can do do this easily yet but I have not had much personal time to work this out yet but keep looking for my post if I figure out a solution for this issue

The problem is that your remote does not seem to have a way to connect to a USB type A cable or have you tried this ( because if the remote uses a different voltage than 5 volts this is not going to work properly because of what I pointed out earlier in this post )

One option might be to carefully take apart the remote and see how it is connected to the remote and how it is connecting to the phone and post some pictures of the connectors and the boards if it has more than one board

Note that is if the remote does not power the phone as well then ignore the suggestion that I have above about an option

      Hi everyone.

First, let me preface by saying that I do not have much experience with diagnosing damages in motherboards other than visual inspection and checking simple short to ground faults.
But I do learn quickly, and really want to learn how to properly diagnose motherboard faults. If someone could have the patience to go over this board with me, it would be greatly appreciated.

A customer came into my shop with a A2179 MacBook with an 820-01958-A logic board. The reason for bringing the laptop in is that the laptop stopped turning on.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH05 not charging after repair
      by Cysko
      Hello everybody,
One of my friends brought me his brother's laptop to repair, I'm the third person who put the hands on this laptop (he tried to convince his brother to take it to me for the ram upgrade, dust cleanup and thermal paste replacement but he wanted to make it to his university friend... sorry if I say that, but we saw the result).
The laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH05 with AMD Ryzen CPU and Nvidia GPU.

I'm going to give a quick recap of what happened before I got this laptop for repair to make clear the situation.

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
      by stylishconsultant
      Hi All,

      Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

Vizio E420VA 5v drops to 3v when power cable is connected
      by SeaglassPearl
Folks, I have a Vizio flat screen that doesn't show any signs of life (and no orange vizio glow either).

I tested the voltages from the power board (at the connector) and I can see the 5V supply drops to 3V after the power cable is connected to the main board (5V supply reads as 5V when cable is disconnected from main board). All other rails (12V and 24V) are reading fine.

I looked for the usual bloated caps and saw none on either board and no other tell-tall signs (black marks, burned components, etc) on either side of both boards.

      Given the 5V rail...

Lenovo T460 Only Charges on One Charger
      by motormayhem
      Laptop Question
      Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).

A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when...
