    Is this soldering iron sufficient?

I messaged him he says it's grounded but I dunno what else is necessary or if this is a good price for this iron? I plan on recapping about 30 boards and not using it again which is why I want something cheap with good enough performance.

Try looking at website www.mpja.com - they have soldering station that looks just like it for $14.95 - cat. no. 15860TL. They also have antistatic solder sucker, soldering iron tips, and one pound spools of the good electronic solder.

Wow thanks! So do you think the iron will be good enough by the specs? It doesn't have to last long but it needs to perform well enough. Also what tip would be the best for recapping motherboards?

      Thanks in advance
