    Amprobe lCR55A Advice

    Think I decided on purchasing this unit (Unless there is an equivalent or better kit form that I can find. No case is not an issue.)

    However a buddy at work hasan Amprobe LCR55A that he is making me one heck of a deal on. I don't exactly understand if this particular unit is also capable of checking ESR and was looking for some feedback about that? Also if there is recommended specifications for this meter as far as accuracy and that type of thing goes. I don't mind buying both units if I need to I actually sort of planned on doing that unless this one is also capable of testing ESR. I just have to make a decision quick whether to get this or skip it and go for the first one. Any input is greatly appreciated thank you

      Having read the datasheet for the Amprobe, I don't see it anything about ESR.

          I didnt either, thats why I was wondering does it serve a purpose still, handy to have along with and esr meter or is it considered outdated, not really needed if I bought the first one?

              Hi all,

              I made a big-ass mess here of my father's beloved P602, and I'm trying to figure out if I should order a batch of overpriced ribbons or if I'd just be throwing more good money at the bad.

              He woke up recently to a bunch of white bars going down the right side of the screen. From what I'd seen in these places, I figured the T-con board has gone out or has a bad connection. I took the back off and gently poked at the socketed ribbons and sure enough, got the image back. It was mainly the far left ribbon, and it would snap back to stripes if I let off the pressure....

              Hey all, was wanting to know what cheapest option is for programming EC chips such as the MEC5107-LJ

              i searched online and found such programmers as the SVOD4, Vertyanov Successor , and the RT809h type but didn’t see this particular BGA EC chips listed? So hoping for some advice here , cheers.

              Looking for some advice or opinions on what to do with a monitor issue I’ve run into. Apologies in advance is this crossovers a few forum categories.

              I have a Dell U3425WE, which I've recently replaced with another model. That said, the original unit is still fully functional in terms of the display — it works perfectly over HDMI and DisplayPort.               Hi, Im looking to replace some EMP21N03 mosfets on an Alienware motherboard, but I'm having trouble finding a legit supplier. The ones that are available from China have pictures with the engraved logo looking very scratchy and sketchy. Nobody in the US sells them. I'm trying to find a compatible mosfet, but I'm not well versed enough to be confident im making the right choice. Does anyone have a suggestion or advice that could help me find the right mosfet?               Hi all,

              Recently installed a new motherboard but during the process I seemed to have damaged my Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti card.

              My motherboard ROG STRIX B550-A is detecting an issue with the VGA (light ON)

              I have attached 2 photo's of my GPU board, one above and the other is what I believe to be the 5V - as you can see, this has visual damage so looks suspicious to me.

              If I replace this part what are the odds this will resolve the issue? - any additional information on where to source the parts would be much apricated too!
